It's getting colder because it's getting warmer (again)...
Record-setting cold continues in L.A. area
A frost advisory is in effect Friday morning for parts of the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys as the Thanksgiving cold snap continues across Southern California.
The National Weather Service predicted temperatures of between 28 and 32 degrees in some valley areas and said it will be ever colder in the Antelope Valley, where a freeze warning has been issued.
On Thanksgiving Day, Palmdale set a new low temperature (21), and Los Angeles International Airport tied its record (46).
The L.A. basin will see highs in the mid- to high-60s Friday, with the temperatures dropping into the 40s overnight, forecasters said.
