Random Thoughts (three)

For those looking into purchasing some Silver American Eagle coins, I've got to wonder, if silver is so desired because of an expected economic crash, why are precious metals dealers so eager to sell it for the very cash that would be valueless if the collapse does come? Why would they want to be caught holding on to worthless paper instead of precious metals?

The HBO documentary "War-torn" dealing with PTSD is a must see film. It is amazing what the vets of Iraq and Afghanistan are experiencing. It's a downright disgrace what Bush, Cheney, Obama, et al. have put these young men through and we all think nothing of it. The stories of suicide and emotional disorders that linger years after returning home are disturbing. Instead of wasting our money to bail out bankers, we should be spending everything that is necessary to help these poor guys and women as well as their families.

Speaking of television shows, last Friday's Conspiracy Theory program hosted by Jesse Ventura about fusion centers and FEMA camps had to be the best documented show of the series. Pretty chilling stuff especially when he visits the "residential center" surrounded by barbed wire which included a playground with children playing in it. The spokespeople they sent out to talk to Ventura were very secretive and evasive in their answers and the Congressman who sponsored the bill, who claimed he was not aware of the provisions to establish those very camps, claiming they did not exist, was a piece of shit. I posted a link to watch the whole program. Be sure to take the time to watch it. Believe me, it is something all Americans should be informed about.

Have you noticed that since the elections, Obama has been out of the country? First the trip to Asia and now Europe. You would think with the country falling apart economically, he would be hunkered down in the White House meeting with labor and business leaders trying to forge some solution to ease the crisis. Obviously, he is content with the way things are progressing. Being a puppet of the global elite, he is well aware that their plan to bring the last super power to her knees has almost been accomplished. With the USA crippled those who brought on the collapse can implement their solution. He doesn't seem to be too worried does he?

Do you think without the internet there would such a backlash over the airport body scanners? You would never have known they were being installed in the first place from watching the mainstream media news. The internet news blogs and YouTube video postings have done much to spread the word. Another reason the internet will not be unrestricted for much longer. It is our last bastion of true freedom of speech and information gathering untouched by the corporate news propaganda. Enjoy it while it lasts.

The New York Jets are the luckiest team in the NFL this year. Being a long time Jet fan sufferer, I'll take it. But you know sooner or later if they don't start playing better, the breaks will turn against them and we will being saying "the same old Jets" in December.
