"Democracy is totalitarianism of the manipulated majority, hence the reference to polls supposedly showing that the majority of Americans favor gun control. Disarmament comes via democracy. As long as we defend democracy, we are pro-gun control whether we realize it or not."

One step closer to disarmament

by Bob Livingston

Authoritarianism or criminal government can never feel secure as long as millions of people own guns. Likewise, when the people have no arms, they have no security and no hope of security.

Disarmament first comes by words and psychological warfare, and we are seeing it these days in spades. This week, police chiefs from across the country called for universal background checks for firearms purchases, saying opinion polls consistently show that most Americans support such restrictions.

What a clever use of deceptive language and logical fallacy that is. Police chiefs know that there are already “universal background checks” on every gun purchased from a dealer. Reams of paper detailing millions of firearms purchase records sit in thousands of boxes at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ National Tracing Center awaiting input into a “digital repository.” Private sales of weapons by law-abiding citizens make up a small percentage of firearms transactions, and the so-called “gun show loophole” is a straw man.

Police chiefs also know that criminals rarely purchase their guns through legitimate means. No amount of mandated background checks on private purchases is going to stem the illegal transfer of arms among those operating on the black market with criminal intent.

Getting down to where the goats graze, criminals are criminals because they ignore laws. Law-abiding Americans follow the laws, even if those laws are anti-liberty (as are all gun restrictions). Putting one more law between law-abiding citizens and the gun dealers will not deter a single criminal from obtaining a gun by nefarious or extra-lawful means. This would seem to be common sense, but common sense is in short supply in the District of Criminals and on the animal farm.

And citing polls, even if they are legitimate and not manipulated through either sample selection or the nature of the questions, is nothing more than argumentum ad populum. With the propaganda onslaught against guns and gun owners and the increasing hostility government is directing toward liberty lovers — just during the term of the undocumented usurper currently despoiling the People’s House — it’s a wonder pollsters can find anyone admitting support of gun ownership.

The undocumented usurper and the Democrat candidates for president are all now full bore calling for what they term as “common-sense” gun control. Use of the phrase “common-sense” as a modifier is designed to make the unreasonable seem reasonable and intimidate into submission anyone opposing new restrictions. After all, who wants to be caught on the wrong side of “common sense?”

I have repeatedly told you how change agents operate on behalf of those in power to create control words and phrases and outright sweet-sounding lies to dumb us down and cause conditioned responses. See here, here and here for some examples.

Federal agencies are likewise promulgating the notion that gun owners are dangerous radicals who must be subjected to extra surveillance. Again, this is a tactic designed to intimidate liberty lovers into submission to the new government-sponsored orthodoxy.

This is just another assault on our freedoms, and one step closer to complete confiscation of guns and the disarming of the law abiding segment of our population. This will treat those U.S. citizens who exercise their constitutional right to bear arms as if they are common criminals.

The gun control problem is a mind-control problem. The authorities know full well that they, with all their high-tech weapons, cannot subdue a determined people with private arms (see the Taliban). This is why they want your guns. Therefore, they use all manner of spurious persuasion to get you to give up your arms and to exert hostility toward others who won’t. Same old divide and conquer.

Let’s put this all in perspective. The German people had nothing to fear from the SS until the propaganda of the Third Reich prepared their minds for so-called National Socialism. When they “bought” National Socialism, they also accepted the SS and suppression of human liberty. In other words, psychological warfare conquered the Germans before the Nazi SS and their eventual military defeat. This is the order of events to keep in mind.

The wide use of the word “democracy” is proof that people don’t know freedom from a house cat. The word “democracy” neutralizes and disarms the mind to the reality of authoritarianism and the danger to personal freedom. Hitler called his Nazi Germany “a great democracy,” and he disarmed the German citizens.

As long as the word “democracy” means freedom in the minds of the people, the long attrition of personal liberty will continue with or without gun ownership. The word “democracy” by and of itself has disarmed us. Yet I hear people express great fear of loss of their firearms and at the same time use the word “democracy” like it was cotton candy.

Democracy is totalitarianism of the manipulated majority, hence the reference to polls supposedly showing that the majority of Americans favor gun control. Disarmament comes via democracy. As long as we defend democracy, we are pro-gun control whether we realize it or not.

Passive words like “democracy” and “common-sense gun control” disarm the mind, and then it is only a matter of time before you volunteer to hand over your guns. “To keep and bear arms” is the opposite of democracy. The 2nd Amendment is the only gun law necessary.

When people live on the animal farm (George Orwell), they have no interest in guns or liberty because they are dependent on the government for everything, including bread and circuses. When people have no inclination to protect themselves and their loved ones from plunder (physical harm and financial manipulation), they have lost their self-respect and individuality. What they have done is give their mind and body over to the state.
