The case for an earlier Osama death looks to be deeper than the Arabian Sea where Bin Laden was allegedly dumped on May 2, 2011.
One banner headline that may encapsulate the entire Osama / Obama spectacle: Media Scrambles as Bin Laden Story Crumbles. Not a flattering picture of our “free” press.
A prime minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, believed Bin Laden had been killed years before her interview with David Frost in November 2, 2007 and Benazir Bhutto said so quite clearly before she was herself assassinated shortly after, under suspect circumstances. Athough the BBC censored her statements on Bin Laden; Bhutto was certainly in a position to know. The same could be said of President Muschareff of Pakistan who publicly said in his CNN interview: “I think now, frankly, he is dead for the reason he is a ... kidney patient.” According to Muschareff, bin Laden took dialysis machines into Afghanistan "One was specifically for his own personal use,” said Muschareff. Actually Bin Laden has been suspected or declared dead a number of times and as far back as 2001. And the main stream media did not make much of the fact that Osama was reported to have been at Pakistan hospital undergoing dialysis the night before 9/11. Not exactly the picture of a fast moving world-class villain.
Virtually every recent photo of Bin Laden released to the public by so-called unofficial sources and also by Washington authorities has proven to be either obvious fakes or suspect. The propaganda blitz has not been lost on those paying attention to a story. It happens to be a phenomenon that grows ever-stranger by the day. From the beginning, President Obama has attempted to discredit any suspicion of the White House account. Obama’s CBS proclamation: “There is no doubt that Osama bin Laden is dead,” President Obama said. “Certainly there is no doubt among al Qaeda members that he is dead. So we don’t think that a photograph in and of itself is going to make any difference.” He went on to say, "There are going to be some folks who deny it. The fact of the matter is, you will not see bin Laden walking on this earth again."
No doubt?
“No doubt” is a phrase you may continue to hear when it comes to the Obama White House on Osama bin Laden. But then, why would there by any “folks who deny it”?
Perhaps it has something to do with the weird secrecy around this case. Of course, secrecy surrounding any credible photos and the rapid-fire dumping of the alleged body of Osama bin Laden in the North Arabian Sea is a bi-partisan Washington project not limited to an Obama Administration. According to Republican House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers: "The risks of release outweigh the benefits. Conspiracy theorists around the world will just claim the photos are doctored anyway, and there is a real risk that releasing the photos will only serve to inflame public opinion in the Middle East."
And “no doubt” all that secrecy is in the public interest.
Well, not according to Doctor Steve R. Pieczenik, government insider who served as Deputy Assistand Secretary of State under three presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter. (he also worked as Senior Policy Planner under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, George Shultz, James Baker. As well as serving under five US presidents total, Pieczenik wrote the book on psychological warfare and counter terrorism for the State Department and helped put together special forces programs of the kind that supposedly took out Osama Bin Laden. In April 2002, Dr. Pieczenik stated that Bin Laden had been “dead for months”. “He died of marfan syndrom, Bush junior knew about it, the intelligence community knew about it,” said Pieczenik. Of course Dr. Pieczenik also claims that 9/11 was a “false-flag operation”: “It [9/11] was called a stand down, a false flag operation in order ot mobilize the American public under false pretenses…I taught stand down and false flag operations at the National War College, I’ve taught it with all my operatives so I knew exactly what was done to the American public.” The good doctor raises a groundswell of issues. Example: is anyone that questions Washington a “conspiracy theorist”? Is Dr. Pieczenik one? If so he has literally written the government book on the subject of terrorism.
Meantime, we are instructed to forget the missing body of Osama bin Laden. The body is a detail. Just trust us. Trust the government that many say got it deliberately wrong on WMD in Iraq with “sexed up intelligence” for “war on terror”. Trust the DC establishment after the treacherous murder cover-up of soldier Pat Tillman, the media circus fraud surrounding Jessica Lynch and back to mass deceptions like Tonkin Gulf for Vietnam. And never mind the almost 1,000 “false statements" made by Washington to promote “war on terror”. Or hundreds of innocent civilians killed to frame “leftists” under Operation Gladio among others.
They say trust is hard won and easily lost. By that token, doubts keep mounting with every wild spin cycle out of the Washington narrative: to date the government has changed its story at least 3 times. And none of these alterations are over details or minor adjustments.
According to political journalist Alexander Cockburn of CounterPunch from his story Volcano of Lies: “There was scarcely a sentence in the President's Sunday night address, or in the subsequent briefing by John Brennan, his chief counter-terrorism coordinator, that has not been subsequently retracted by CIA director Leon Panetta or the White House press spokesman, Jay Carney, or by various documentary records.”
