Why the CDC pushes flu season fear like clockwork: $1.6 billion in annual revenue for Big Pharma
by: Jennifer Lea Reynolds
Just about everywhere you turn, invitations to get the flu shot abound. Popular supermarkets set up flimsy privacy dividers, somewhere between the junk food aisle and the feminine products section, at which point a doctor emerges from behind the pharmacy counter and jabs your arm with a needle.
Some street corners boast cardboard signs urging drivers to enter a nearby store and get a flu shot.
You can do it on your lunch break, while heading home from work or while driving to see grandma.
Or, of course, you can do it the old-fashioned way — if an in-store shot isn't your thing — and book an appointment with your primary physician.
While many people may think this is a great idea, let's take a deeper look at this flu shot phenomenon. The REAL reason we're bombarded with flu season worries and why flu vaccines are shoved down our throats has little to do with genuine care for our health. That would be too much to ask.
Ladies and gentlemen — it's all about money. Well, who would have guessed?
Money talks: Big Pharma's financial gain
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), you can expect to see more flu vaccines being distributed than ever before in the United States this season.
Between an estimated 171 to 179 million doses will be distributed this year, up a whopping 147.8 million from last year. This dramatic distribution surge translates to a jaw-dropping $1.61 billion (yes, that's a "B" as in "brainwash") in revenue for Big Pharma for the 2015 season. On a global level, it's thought that manufacturing flu vaccines will come in at approximately $4 billion.
So, Big Pharma rakes in some serious dough, all the while brainwashing us into thinking that if we don't get our vaccine, we're doomed. We'll succumb to the flu virus, writhing in pain while experiencing all sorts of health problems. Wait, isn't that what happens when people get a vaccine? But I digress.
According to the CDC, getting a flu shot is recommended. They elaborate on their website as follows:
"For the 2015-2016 flu season, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommends annual influenza vaccination for everyone 6 months and older with either live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV) or inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV) with no preference expressed when either vaccine is available."
The site goes on to say:
"Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every season. This recommendation has been in place since February 24, 2010 when CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted for 'universal' flu vaccination in the United States to expand protection against the flu to more people."
Mercury, deaths and dirty syringes... yet the urging to get flu shots continues
So there you have it.
We should all flock to our nearest grocery store or hospital and ask to have some mercury injected into our bodies. That's what you're getting, after all. The Natural News Forensic Food Lab previously discovered that vials of batch flu vaccine produced by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) had upwards of 51 parts per million of mercury. To put it in simpler terms, that's 25,000 times the legal maximum for drinking water as established by the Environmental Protection Agency. But really, go ahead and get that flu shot loaded with thimerosal, a mercury derivative.
Let's not forget other reasons to forgo getting a flu shot.
Just last year, the CDC admitted that the flu vaccine wasn't effective. Apparently, just at the height of the 2014 flu season, they announced that the wrong strain was in their flu shots, making headlines such as "Flu Vaccine Doesn't Protect Against This Season's Most Dominant Strain" go viral.
The madness goes on.
In 2014, five senior citizens at a Georgia-based care facility died within one week of receiving the flu shot. Five people in a week? Go ahead, pro-vaxxers, explain that one away. Pure coincidence? And no, it's not just a bunch of elderly people who were bound to meet their maker at any moment anyway; experts said the facility typically lost about two people every six months and that five in a week was shocking.
Then there's the horrific mess in which a New Jersey nurse was recently found administering the flu shot to 70 people... with the same syringe every time!
Forget the hype and stay healthy
Don't support Big Pharma's greedy intentions. The flu season hype is just that — hype.
Poisoning your body with mercury and risking getting jabbed with an incorrect strain or the same syringe as dozens of others before you is a huge price to pay just to keep other people's wallets healthy.
