#20 Who decided that it would be a good idea for the United States government to run up a national debt that has surpassed 14 trillion dollars and that is expanding at a rate of $40,000 per second?

20 Really Bad Ideas That Are Almost Too Stupid To Believe

The following are 20 really bad ideas that are almost too stupid to believe....

#1 Who in the Obama administration decided that it would be a good idea to put thousands of guns into the hands of Mexican drug gangs?

#2 Who decided that it would be a good idea for the financial future of the U.S. government to be decided in a back room by "intellectual heavyweights" such as Barack Obama, John Boehner, Harry Reid and Joe Biden?

#3 Who decided that it would be a good idea to try to put a woman living in Oak Creek, Michigan in jail for 93 days for growing a garden in her front yard?

#4 Who decided that it would be a good idea to introduce legislation in Congress that would ask American workers to voluntarily pay more taxes in order to help reduce the national debt?

#5 Who decided that it would be a good idea to put an ingredient derived from human hair into our bread?

#6 Who decided that it would be a good idea to pump so much sugar and so many chemicals into our food? Now it has come out that the global rate of diabetes has doubled over the past three decades.

#7 Who decided that it would be a good idea for the FDA to try to ban large numbers of nutritional supplements?

#8 Who decided that it would be a good idea to grant the Pentagon hundreds of thousands of waivers from a "Buy American" law that was designed to protect American jobs?

#9 Who decided that it would be a good idea to sell off our highways, water treatment plants, libraries, parking meters, airports and power plants to foreigners?

#10 Who decided that it would be a good idea for Rick Perry to make a run for the White House in 2012? Is he really the "great hope" of the Republican party? If so, how sad is that?

#11 Who decided that Obamacare was a good idea for America? The U.S. health care system is already falling to pieces and the bureaucratic nightmare that the Obama administration has unleashed is only going to make things worse.

#12 Who decided that it would be a good idea to get hundreds of young women to sign a pledge that includes the following promise?....

"If I get pregnant and discover that my unborn child has a defect that will cause him or her a short life of unbearable pain, I will have an abortion."

#13 Who decided that it would be a good idea for the U.S. to spend more than 7 times as much as any other nation in the world on the military and yet slash our strategic nuclear arsenal down to less than 10% of Cold War levels?

#14 Who decided that it should become fashionable to trash the U.S. Constitution?

#15 Who decided that it would be a good idea to put the Federal Reserve in charge of our money supply?

#16 Who decided that it should be the policy of the United Nations "to accelerate fertility decline in the least developed countries"?

#17 Who decided that it would be a good idea to allow our scientists to create "spider-goats" and other really weird genetically-modified creatures?

#18 Who decided that it would be a good idea to arrest people that are trying to feed the homeless?

#19 Who decided that it would be a good idea for TSA officials to start digging around in the hair of women travelers?

#20 Who decided that it would be a good idea for the United States government to run up a national debt that has surpassed 14 trillion dollars and that is expanding at a rate of $40,000 per second?

A small minority of our politicians are actually trying to do the right thing. A small minority of our business leaders are trying to play the game honestly and fairly. Unfortunately, those efforts are being swamped by the corruption, depravity and greed of everyone else.

America is in deep trouble. At a time when we are in desperate need of real solutions, all we seem to be offered are really bad ideas.
