Zionism as oppsed to Judaism

Pretty interesting article written by a Jewish person as to why he and other Jews are opposed to the idea of Zionism. Remember, not all Jews are Zionists. The best way I can describe it is that the Zionists are much like our Neocons. As a matter of fact many Neocons are Zionists, who are rumored to hold dual citizenship in Israel and the United States, like Paul Wolfowitz, Scooter Libby, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, Elliot Abrams, John Bolton and so on. You all know the trouble they got the United States into while in power. There is a Neocon segment in the Democratic party as well led by our own Senator from Connecticut Joe Lieberman. Well, Israel is run by their Neocons, the Zionists, who have much in common with our bad boys. So you see, Israel is being led down a path of perpetual war with the help of their American cohorts. What else can explain our nations blind support for any action Israel takes, either good or bad, while the rest of the world rejects most of Israel's policies and suspect moves, i.e., attacking the Gaza flotilla. The Zionists are quick to accuse anyone who opposes them as being anti-Semitic, which of course is an easy way to deflect criticism and isolate opponents. No one wants to be accused of making anti-jewish comments or remarks and so many politicians remain quiet afraid of the Zionist lobby. The reality is many Jews despise the Zionists and they are speaking out. Here's one...

WHY IS WORLD JEWRY OPPOSED TO THE ZIONIST STATE

1) What is "The people of Israel" ?
-The people of Israel have existed for thousands of years.
-It has its own particular, essential, nature.
-The Torah is the source of its essential nature.
-Without Torah and faith there is no people of Israel.
-Whoever denies the Torah and the Faith is no longer part of the people of Israel.
-The purpose of the People of Israel in this world is Divine service.
-Their salvation is occupation in Divine Service.
2) What is Zionism ?
-Zionism is a new thing.
-It has only existed for a century.
-Zionism redefines the true essential nature of the people of Israel, and substitutes for it a completely contradictory and opposite character.
- a materialistic worldly nation.
-Their misfortune is lack of what other nations have. i.e. a state and army.
-Their salvation is possession of a state and army etc.
- This is clearly speed out in the circles of Zionist though, and among the leaders of the Zionist state, That through changing the nature and character of the people of Israel and by changing their way of thinking they can set before the People of Israel "their salvation." -- a state and an army.
