Milford Hooter's waitress accused of padding tips
MILFORD — Police arrested a Hooter’s waitress who allegedly padded her tips at the expense of customers by illegally adding to the gratuity line of credit card payments made at the Boston Post Road restaurant.
Lindsay Butler, 20, of 39 Union Ave., East Haven, allegedly increased the amount customers left for a tip on 51 separate transactions over one month.
The thefts totaled $539, police said.
