Bilderberg Elitist Charlie Rose Invokes Ron Paul “Electability” Myth
Polls show Paul is the most electable candidate out of all the Republican challengers to Romney

Bilderberg member Charlie Rose attempted to denigrate Ron Paul’s second place finish in New Hampshire by invoking the myth that he is not “electable,” when in fact polls show he is the most electable candidate out of all the Republicans challenging Mitt Romney.
The CBS News story which accompanies the video interview is entitled ‘Ron Paul shrugs off electability concerns‘ – and yet the only “concerns” about Paul’s electibility have been manufactured by the establishment media, and are not reflected in national polls of the American people.
Rose paraphrases Romney campaign rhetoric in suggesting Ron Paul is “not electable” and that they’re happy he is in second place. CNN floated a similar idea in another interview, telling Paul he was “the buffer between Mitt Romney and the other candidates,” implying that Paul’s second place finish was a meaningless irritant to the ‘serious’ Republicans who got less votes.
“I’ve been electable,” said Paul. “I’ve won 12 elections already, and we’re doing quite well now. It’s amazing that I do so much better than those other candidates that are all electable. They’re all in fourth, fifth and sixth place, but they’re all electable, but I come in second or third, and all of the sudden people say, ‘Oh, he’s not electable.’ I don’t know how that adds up,” responded Paul.
Rose insinuates that “conservatives” need to unite behind one candidate if they are to challenge Romney (unite behind anyone other than Paul that is). Paul schools Rose on what true conservatism is supposed to be all about.
“There’s a lot of confusion on how you define conservative,” said Paul. “I define conservative as for less government, less spending and balanced budgets, but … in recent history the Republican Party has drifted over to saying conservative means you cut spending and maybe interference in the market, but … the more money you spend overseas, the more conservative you are. That doesn’t even add up, doesn’t make sense.”
The myth that Ron Paul is not electable is still being circulated by the mainstream media despite the fact that it has been repeatedly debunked by national polls which show that Paul is the most electable, ie the candidate with the best chance of beating Obama, out of all the Republican challengers to Romney.
Indeed, a poll conducted by CBS News itself found that Ron Paul is statistically tied with Obama in a hypothetical head to head, making him the only Republican candidate other than Mitt Romney to be in such a position.
The poll has Paul at 45 percent and Obama at 46 percent, with the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points. Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, and Jon Huntsman are all defeated by Obama in the poll beyond or well beyond the error margin.
The poll once again demonstrates that Ron Paul is the most electable GOP candidate in that, unlike every other candidate, he can tap into more diverse voting groups, as well as maintaining a Republican base, and defeat Obama come the general election in November.
