Hey, Ron Paul supporters, don't give up hope. A personal commentary...

As much as I am pretty pissed off this morning about the results of the South Carolina primary, the supporters of Ron Paul cannot give up or hang their heads as if all is lost. Most of us have probably come to the realization, that Dr. Paul is not going to be allowed to be the Republican candidate for president, due to the deliberate sabotaging of his campaign by both his own party establishment and the corporate controlled media. If the exit polls are to be trusted, Dr. Paul should have finished a close second or third in South Carolina. His momentum was surging coming off New Hampshire and the debates earlier in the week. The crowds at his rallies were far larger than those of his opponents and he had the support of several key South Carolina state legislators. All this is indicative of election fraud. The use of touch screens and other forms of electronic voting have stolen the election process from the American people. This in itself is something we all as Americans must be concerned about.

However, the issues that Dr. Paul is discussing and bringing to the public eye are the beginning of a new awakening in this country. Yeah, unfortunately, either Obama or one of the other Republican big government, corporate controlled candidates will be our next president, but eventually the system they support and protect will soon crumble and collapse from it's own inherent flaws and corruption. It's better this inevitable downfall of America take place under the watch of those who have perpetuated this sham on us. Let them take the blame. Let them suffer the backlash of anger that the American people will demonstrate when the system falls apart.

When that time comes, a new generation of leaders, schooled on the philosophy and teachings of Ron Paul, will emerge as the only sane spokesmen for what needs to be done to restore the United States to its' rightful place as a constitutional republic with a sound currency and a respect for civil and economic liberty,as well as peace and cooperation between nations.

Unfortunately, we are all going to have to experience the pain of this coming national and global calamity, but what will emerge is what Ron Paul has been preaching about his entire political life. The movement is growing. Ron Paul is the the trail blazer. He, most likely, won't emerge as the savior we all desperately want him to be. Maybe, that is a good thing. If by some miracle he did become president at this particular time in history, he and the movement he created would forever be used as the scapegoat for this inevitable economic catastrophe. All his efforts at educating and awakening the American public, would be discredited by those who oppose his views on liberty and freedom and who seek to destroy his candidacy today.

As after the stock market crash of 1929 and the ensuing depression, Herbert Hoover was and still is blamed for the consequences of the circumstances which were way beyond his control. Abraham Lincoln could have been president at that time and nothing would have been different. We face that same inevitability today. Let's let Romney, Gingrich or Obama become the next Herbert Hoover. Ron Paul and his movement are too good and important for our future for that fate. The first steps have been taken toward a new America. There's nothing to hang our heads about in regards to the election results. The tragic aspect of all of this is the terrible disaster that awaits our country in the coming months and years before the bearers of the Ron Paul torch emerge from the ruins to light the way.
