9 More Months Of Radioactive Fallout Before TEPCO Begins To Stop Leak

Are you ready for 6 to 9 more months of Japan nuclear fallout blowing over the United States before TEPCO even tries to stop the radioactivity from leaking from the Fukushima nuclear power plant?

That is what the final plan TEPCO has announced has in store. The plan calls for 6 to 9 months of implement “normal cooling operations” which are designed, not to stop the current leak of radiation, but to only to prevent the current amount of radiation that is leaking from increasing.

While TEPCO has announced there is a final plan in place the only detail that has been released to the public is the 6 to 9 month implementation of phase 1 of the operation. The NY Times is now suggesting it may take 30 years to finally bring this disaster to an end.
