Kathleen Sebelius says decrease in human beings will cover cost of
Obamacare contraception mandate

The Obama Administration’s 2013 national budget proposal includes an unconstitutional mandate that insurance companies provide full coverage for birth control drugs and treatments, including sterilizations and drugs that induce abortions. And in defense of the proposed plan,U.S. Department of Health and Human Services(HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius actually told a House panel recently that the costs associated with the mandate will be offset by an overall population reduction brought about by the measures.
“The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception,” alleged Sebelius at the hearing, parroting the same claims made by Mr. Obama several weeks ago in defense of the scam, which is really just Big Brother interfering with the private health coverage choices of companies and their employees.
When asked by Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Penn.) who will be paying for the mandate, Sebelius responded by claiming that a lower birth rate will basically save everyone money in the long run. Not content with this bogus and illogical answer, Rep. Murphy pressed Sebelius on the issue further, only to have her respond with a talking point about how contraception is “a critical preventive health benefit for women and for their children.”

Besides the constitutionality issues surrounding the mandate, many religious groups are also up in arms over what they say is an infringement on the First Amendment rights of those that will be required to comply with providing free abortion drugs at the government’s directive. Such contraceptive measures violate the faiths and value systems of many who will be required to comply with the mandate or else face prosecution and fines.
“[T]he birth control mandate [...] allows the Secretary to mandate that all health plans cover any service that the Secretary places on a list of ‘preventive’ services,” said Douglas Johnson, Legislative Director of theNational Right to Life Committee(NRLC). “There is nothing in the law to prevent the Secretary from placing abortion, assisted suicide, or any other additional services on the preventive services list.”
There is also no proof that lowering the birth rate via the mandate actually saves insurance companies or anyone else any money, otherwise they would already be voluntarily providing such services without a mandate. So in reality, the mandate appears to be just one more point of control for the government to manipulate and reduce the population.
