Don't pull out the summer clothes just yet...

Snowstorms, Winter Fighting Back in Midwest, Northeast

An area from the northern Plains and the Midwest to the Northeast will be a weather battle zone into March, and the week coming up will be no exception.

A couple of storms will bring snow or a wintry mix to much of this swath of the country early next week. AccuWeather.com users were tipped off earlier this week on this wintry situation unfolding...

AccuWeather.com Winter and Long Range Expert Meteorologist Joe Bastardi stated, "The pattern forward for the next four to six weeks, like much of the past six weeks, favors a weather battle zone for the Midwest and the Northeast.

Don't be fooled by the springlike warmth of late in northern areas. The pattern can easily flip from 60- and 70-degree temperatures one day to a snowstorm and temperatures in the 20s the next from the northern Plains and Midwest to the mid-Atlantic and New England.
